Our DIY garments are painstakingly embellished by our little hands and made from our homes with love, especially for you. No two items are exactly alike. Traipse around the world on well-intentioned escapades, or just chill at your local dive in ALIOMI DIY--you’ll be a welcomed contrast to downcast eyes. DIY items may have imperfections, as they’re all hand-embellished.
In most cases, there is only ONE of each item, so grab it before someone else snatches it up!
Unless the garment is vastly misrepresented, we do not issue refunds on DIY/Custom embellished items. So, before purchasing, we strongly advise that you take a look at our FIT GUIDE to ensure that it will fit you! ALIOMI DIY items may vary by style or brand. There may be some inconsitencies, as the beauty of it is that they are not mass-produced or laser cut. Our hand-embellished items are truly one of a kind! Vintage clothing was often tailored with greater care and precision than today’s apparel, thus they can be a true investment pieces. Our vintage items are pre-loved, imbued with a personality and story well before you owned it. Though most of our vintage items are authentic vintage pieces, some are reworked in-house to reflect current runway and street trends. Best of all, vintage clothing is recycled, thus environmentally friendly!
We try our best to appropriately date our vintage items. If garments are not authentic vintage, we will note it as ‘vintage inspired’. We inspect our vintage items thoroughly to make sure that there are no major flaws or damage. If certain items have any flaws, we make great efforts to accurately represent it in the item description. Some vintage clothing was sized based on a different fit standard. We provide estimated sizes to serve as a guideline. Unless the garment is vastly misrepresnted, we do NOT warrant refunds on vintage items. So, before purchasing, please consult our FIT GUIDE and view listed measurements to ensure that it will fit you! Larger items clamped on models will be stated in the description.
Depending upon the material, we suggest that you gently wash or dry-clean when buying vintage goods. Remember, even if an item you love doesn’t fit you perfectly, a good tailor can alter it accordingly. You don’t have to hang it up at night, but be sure to shower your pre-loved item with even more love!
